The couple made full use of Black Walnut’s versatile spaces, beginning their day with stunning portraits in front of the farmhouse and ending with an unforgettable reception under cascading greenery and candlelight. From the emotional first look to the grand charcuterie spread, every element was beautifully personalized—from soft neutral florals and elegant mirror signage to romantic overhead draping that transformed the barn into a glowing, intimate setting. Inside, the Smiths used soft draping in white and black to create a romantic focal point, beautifully framing the head table beneath the venue’s iconic wagon wheel chandelier. Thoughtfully arranged florals and candlelit lanterns added a cozy glow throughout the space, and guests dined at round tables dressed in classic black linens and simple, elegant centerpieces.
